Stevie
Stevie—a male kitten, about 10 months old, completely blind (confirmed diagnosis)—was found abandoned by the side of the road—in a place where, realistically speaking, he wouldn’t have stood a chance on his own. His blindness is the result of severe conjunctivitis he suffered as a kitten. It’s a tough story, but the ending isn’t. Because he doesn’t act like a “disabled” cat. He acts like a cat… who figured out very quickly how the world works. In less than an hour, he learned the layout: the litter box, the bowls, the routes. He navigates by sound, smell, and memory, and he does it with a confidence that is disarming. He doesn’t jump, he doesn’t climb recklessly, he doesn’t test limits—he builds his own landmarks and sticks to them.
Stevie is the quiet type of cat. He seeks out people, comes over for pets, and is trusting. He doesn’t “take over” the house, knock things over, or jump where he shouldn’t. He prefers steady steps to acrobatics.
He needs a stable, predictable indoor environment—a place where things don’t change constantly and where someone has the patience to give him a few days to settle in. That’s all. Other than that, he’ll manage just fine. They might benefit from the company of another calm and friendly animal.
He is neutered, has a health record, has had all his tests done, and is in good health. He’ll also come with a “starter kit”—food, litter, litter box, carrier, and toys, as needed. We’re looking for a responsible adopter in Cluj or the surrounding counties. We’ll arrange transportation, because we want him to end up where he belongs, not just wherever is easiest.
This isn’t a “rescue” cat. It’s a cat for someone who understands that adaptation doesn’t mean limitation. If you feel you could provide that safe space, please contact us.
