Bobiță

Bobiță is a delicate and sensitive little girl with a gentle soul, who needs time and patience to learn to trust. She is naturally quiet and a bit anxious, but she accepts petting, and once she gets to know you and feels safe, she opens up beautifully: she will come to seek attention on her own, purr sweetly, and “make biscuits” with great tenderness. Once she bonds with her human, Bobiță becomes extremely clingy and affectionate. She loves staying close, following her person around the house and constantly seeking proximity and affection. While she does play by herself or when invited to, she clearly prefers moments of tenderness and the company of humans. She is also quite sociable with guests, and her presence brings a lot of warmth to a home.

She isn’t the type of cat to demand the spotlight, nor is she “playful” in the traditional sense, but she has a clear weakness for valerian toys, which never fail to spark her interest and joy. Bobiță is also quite vocal and loves to “chat” often with her humans. 🥰

Around other cats, Bobiță remains reserved. At the shelter, she didn’t seek out interaction, at most accepting a mutual sniff with the others; if her space was invaded, she preferred to defend herself. This behavior was likely influenced by the large number of cats around her. However, considering her past relationship with Alunița—her “sister” in hardship—we believe Bobiță could bond fairly quickly with another quiet and balanced cat.

Her history is a moving one. Bobiță was a neighborhood cat, cared for with much love and dedication by two elderly ladies. After losing Alunița, one of the ladies decided to take her in as a foster, but life was unfair once again: the lady passed away, and Bobiță came into our care.

Today, Bobiță is looking for a calm, patient, and empathetic home where her rhythm and space will be respected, and where love comes without pressure. In return, she will offer authentic moments of affection and a gentle presence that will touch your soul slowly, but deeply.
