Fostering
Our fostering program is designed to ensure a positive and beneficial experience for both cats and foster families. Through careful assessment and open communication, we ensure that each candidate is well-intentioned and has the necessary housing and time resources to provide adequate temporary care. Our goal is to create a safe and loving environment for the cats until they find a permanent home.
How do you become a fosterer?
- Fostering Request: We ask that interested persons contact us on Facebook or Instagram to express the desire to become a temporary parent.
- Initial Discussion: We start by getting to know each other, by collecting information about our occupation and daily schedule. and other people with whom the cat would have contact, necessary safety measures for cats, previous experience with animalsand anything else that becomes relevant during the discussion.
What do you need to know before you become a foster parent?
- You must be available for a period of at least 1-3 months, depending on the cat's needs, in order not to stress it with too many moves.
- You must agree to sign a standard fostering contract, which can be discussed in advance to answer any possible questions (see sample contract below).
- We will bring the cat to its new box, at a mutually agreed upon date and time. all accessories, food and/or the medicines she needs and we provide them throughout her stay in foster care with the mention of being notified of the need for a supply 1-2 weeks in advance; we appreciate and encourage the possibility of supplies being provided by the temporary family, but if this is not possible, reimbursement can be made at regular, mutually agreed time intervals
- You will be added to the Facebook group for temporary families, where we encourage you to share pictures and ask questions or concerns;
- Understand that it is necessary to keep us constantly informed about the condition of the kitten in your care, but also to send photo-video materials that can be used in promoting the kitten for adoption.

Our team will provide you with ongoing support, resources and guidance to ensure you have everything you need to care for your cats in the best way possible.
