Dexter

Dexter’s story begins thanks to a kind-hearted lady who rescued a pregnant cat from an abandoned building. Just two days after she was brought to safety, on 6 April, she gave birth to five healthy kittens, and Dexter is one of them. If his mother hadn’t been rescued in time, the fate of the whole family would have been very different.

Right from his first few weeks of life, Dexter stood out for his boundless curiosity. He’s the sort of kitten who has to know what’s going on everywhere: he inspects every corner of the house, investigates every new object and is always the first to set off to explore a room or a toy. Nothing escapes his notice, and his adventurous spirit means he’s always discovering something interesting.

As well as being very curious, Dexter is also a very energetic little cat. He loves to run, play and spend his time coming up with new ‘missions’. One of his favourite spots is the windowsill, where he can watch the birds, people and everything going on outside for hours on end.

Once he’s finished exploring, Dexter turns into a real cuddle-loving cat. He loves being stroked, seeks out human company and enjoys every moment spent with his family. He’s the sort of cat who wants not just a home, but a person with whom to form a special bond, based on affection, play and trust.
