Patch
A freezing October night, when the lives of three souls hung on a single second of attention. Patch was there, in the ditch of a deserted road between Zalău and Cluj. Though exhausted and shivering, she did not flee into the darkness. In a gesture of pure loyalty, she and her sister, Dot, stepped into the light to defend their brother, Tux, who was waiting for his end in the middle of the road.
This devotion was the spark that saved them—the first in a series of battles. By the time they reached the vet, they could barely stand on their own two feet, but together they refused to give up. They survived not only the danger on the road but also panleukopenia, a cruel disease they overcame by turning their metal cage into a fortress of mutual care.
Patch is the cheerful “driving force” of the trio today, always by Tux and Dot’s side. You can spot Patch at a glance thanks to the black spot on the left side of her face, which gives her the air of a beautiful Venetian woman getting ready for Carnival. She is the group’s adventurer, a chatty little cat who always has a story to tell and who eagerly seeks your company, instantly winning over anyone who offers her a stroke. Playful and full of life, Patch, like her siblings, wears that “cape” of survival—a painted symbol of time won in battles with death.
Together with her sister, Dot, they make the perfect team: Patch brings cheerfulness, Dot brings tenderness. They are the black-and-white “yin and yang” that will fill your home with life and meowing stories. Although the two sisters are an irreplaceable duo, their hearts are truly fulfilled when they’re with Tux. That’s why Patch and Dot are looking for a home—either as a trio, to keep the magic of the trio intact, or as a pair, ready to bring a double dose of love to their next family.
