Mari
Mari, another victim of a harrowing case – dozens of cats dumped in the rubbish, huddled and frightened. In the chaos of that night, we inadvertently separated her from her kittens, who, weak and fragile, had been protected by another mother cat. It wasn’t until the next day, with the morning light and clearer heads, that we noticed the sore nipples and realised: Mari was their mother. The reunion was touching – she and one of the cubs were immediately reunited and have been inseparable ever since. The other two puppies, being very weak, were taken in and cared for separately to make sure they got enough food and mum had enough milk for all of them.
Mari is about a year and a half old, she is thin, but with a huge soul and a rare gentleness. She loves caresses and responds with all her sincere affection to every gesture of tenderness. She has been dewormed internally and externally, vaccinated and sterilized and has not needed any other medical interventions.
Mari dreams of a warm home, where she can stay with her kittens or at least know that they will all have the love and security they have waited a lifetime for. She is a gentle cat, ready to give all her love to those who know how to receive it.
