Chewei
Chewei’s story is unimaginable. He was found in a terrible state, with a hind leg that was literally shredded to pieces. Hanging meat, a scent of pain and agony, and entire days spent agonizing under the burning sun, hoping for someone to help him or for the pain to become more tolerable. It appeared that his leg had been chewed by another animal.
He was taken into surgery immediately, then brought to the Cat House for rehabilitation. After patient care from our volunteers, Chewei began a long period of readjustment in foster care. At first, he spent most of his time hidden in a closet or under the bed, venturing out only at night when he felt safe.
After many months of patience and understanding from his temporary caregivers, Chewei gained confidence and began to explore other parts of the house. Not only that, but he also welcomed a little feline brother, proudly sharing his bed and toys with him. Today, Chewei is a brave and hopeful soul, ready to find a caring family that can offer him the love and serenity he deserves.
