Hahi
There are cats that meow, and then there are cats that speak to you in whispers. You can recognize Hahi by her discreet greeting—a barely audible “ha-hi,” reserved only for those she holds dear. It is her way of saying that, after more than a decade of surviving the cold streets of Cluj, she still believes in kindness. Although life forced her to be a survivor, Hahi has remained a “gentle giant” with a velvet soul, whose subtle presence brings a deep sense of calm to any home.
Her story is one of resilience. She has braved the frost, hunger, and loneliness, remaining one of the few survivors of her family. Though her stature is impressive, her heart is of a rare delicacy. A quiet and grateful soul, Hahi doesn’t demand attention. At first, she is shy, studying you from a distance, but then she becomes incredibly affectionate. That’s when the magic happens: Hahi adopts you. She presses her little pink nose against your cheek, examines your hair with affection, and offers the most sincere hugs you’ve ever received.
Hahi is the ideal companion for a quiet apartment or house (strictly indoors), with adults or families with calm children who respect her peace. When it comes to other animals, she is selective, preferring to share her home with cats who are just as “zen” as she is. She is a cat of innate nobility with impeccable manners: she is 100% litter-box trained, shows perfect moderation with food, and—most importantly for your peace of mind—she does not scratch.
Life with her is a lesson in serenity. Hahi spends 90% of her time sleeping, likely dreaming of the sun she now loves to “breathe in” from the window. She is the perfect colleague for those who work from home; sometimes you’ll forget she’s even in the room, until you feel a soft paw placed lovingly on your leg. Her small joys include paw massages and those pampered moments of being held close.
After more than ten years of storms, Hahi is looking for a corner of a pillow where she can finally feel safe. She is ready to give you all the love she has gathered through her years of waiting, transforming any space into a true “home.”
