Dima
It seems that Dima’s fate led her to face some of the hardest and most arduous challenges.
From swollen organs to FIV, toxoplasmosis, and even FIP — Dima faced them all. We rescued her from a ditch in the middle of the night, where she lay on her side, weighing only 1.4 kg.
She began her journey in a tumultuous state, with very little hope for recovery, receiving a transfusion as soon as the results of her first blood tests came in. Despite all the hardships, she kept fighting for her life. Her gaze grew more and more radiant, and we all hoped she could somehow feel how many people were behind her, rooting for her to pull through.
Little by little, her condition improved. She stayed at the Cat House for a while to complete her treatments, and then she moved to a foster home, where she finally found the peace and quiet she needed.
Nowadays, Dima’s only concerns are being present when her food bowl gets filled, never missing an episode of her foster parent’s favorite show, and making sure she’s already curled up next to the bed by the time bedtime arrives.
She is a shy cat who needs time to build trust and isn’t too fond of being picked up. She values her personal space and will let you know when she’s ready for hugs and affection.
The right family for Dima would be one without young children or other pets, as she doesn’t enjoy sharing her space with those who are overly energetic or overly social. If you are looking for a calm, reserved cat who values quiet companionship and quality time together, Dima might just be the perfect match for you!
