Zoe
Zoe went through fire and smoke, panic, strangers trying to save her, loud noises, sirens, and then hospitalization. She wasn’t physically hurt, but the experience left invisible scars. After the fire, her world changed completely—and Zoe chose to retreat a little, to observe, to make sure she was safe.
She is a shy cat at first, who does not come up to you to ask for attention. But if you take the first step and approach her gently, Zoe opens up beautifully: she lets you pet her, starts purring, and shows you that she has a lot of affection to offer. Brushing is her weakness—that’s how you win her over for good.
