Mica
Throughout her life, Mica has been to as many veterinarians and clinics as almost all of our other cats combined.
We took her in in February 2024, and then a long series of investigations began. After her first visit to the vet, they discovered multiple oral lesions, injuries on the roof of her mouth and tongue, and purulent hypersalivation.
Countless hospitalizations, treatments, and blood test followed. Mica endured them calmly in her cage, as if she were waiting for the worst to pass. The problem was that her issues would recur every now and then, despite joy we felt seeing her eating well and no longer drooling. She is fearful at first, but once she beginst to trust people, she wants to get closer to them.
She enjoys playing when she’s feeling well, running after her wand toys, and purring like a little engine when you pet her. Empathy is key for the family who wishes to adopt her, as they must understand how much she has endured before getting better and how much she now wants to spend the rest of her life by their side.
She cannot live alongside dogs or young children due to her reserved nature. However, she can coexist with other active cats who respect her personal space.
Mica is eagerly awaiting the end of her adventure with us so that she can begin her new life with the family she’s always dreamed of!
