Adopt
Welcoming a furry friend into your home is a wonderful experience, and our foster-to-adopt program is designed to ensure that the bond between you and your future companion is a perfect one. This program allows you to care for an animal for three months before finalizing the adoption. It is a journey of love, patience, and discovery.
How do you adopt a cat?
- Fostering Period: In order to adopt a cat, you must first successfully pass the probationary period of at least 3 months, during which the cat will be in foster care under your care.

What do you need to know before adopting?
- Cats can live between 12 and 20 years, sometimes even longer. You need to be prepared to provide them with everything they need throughout their lives.
- Maintaining a cat involves initial and regular costs, including: vet visits, food, supplies (litter, toys, accessories, sand), as well as possible unforeseen expenses such as medical treatments for illnesses or accidents. You need to make sure that these expenses can be covered in the medium and long term.
- Cats can scratch furniture, knock over objects, or become demanding at times. It's important to be prepared to train them patiently, understand their behavior and be flexible in finding solutions that work for everyone
- Someone needs to take care of your cat if you are going out of town; cats are most comfortable in their own environment so we recommend regular visits from a trusted friend/neighbor/family member to refresh their water, clean their litter box, make sure they have enough food, and provide at least 15 minutes of interaction.
- Be willing to constantly educate yourself about your cat's needs to ensure a happy and healthy life.
