She kept us on our toes many times, but each time the little winner woke up well from anesthesia. When we thought the difficulties were over, the first convulsive seizures began to appear, which puzzled the doctors trying to determine the reason for their occurrence. Stabilized and on preventive treatment, Greta is now better than ever. She is energetic, she likes to run balls, to be petted and especially to receive treats. Greta would not fit in an environment with children or puppies, precisely because of the risk that the crises will reappear due to stress, but beyond that, she gets along very well with cats and people are very dear to her. Greta is delighted to meet you, to purr as she knows best on your sofa and to cheer you up every day with her gentle presence.

Mica has seen as many doctors and vet offices in her life as almost all of our other cats put together. She was taken over in February 2024, and once in our care, the series of investigations began. With multiple oral lesions, formations on the roof of the mouth and tongue, with a purulent hypersalivation - this is how the little one presented itself after the first visit to the doctor. Countless hospitalizations, treatments and analyses, which Mica endured meekly in her cage, as if waiting for the worst to pass. The difficulty was that her problems recurred periodically, despite our joy at seeing Mica free of salivation and with an appetite. She is a fearful cat, but wants to approach people once she trusts them. She plays when she feels good, runs after the fishing rod and purrs when she is petted. Empathy would be the key word for the family that would receive her in her arms, needing a lot of understanding for how much she had to endure until she was well and wishing to have only serene days from now on with them. She could not live with puppies or small children, precisely because of her more reserved temperament; but she would get along with other more active cats that respect her personal space. Poca, as we call her, is one of the kitties that deeply impressed us with her willingness to fight for her life and the power to adapt in any situation. She was taken from the street, with serious problems in both eyes, putting her life and safety at risk at any moment. An entire team of ophthalmologists, veterinarians, clinicians and an extremely skilled surgeon – made it possible for Pocahontas to get through the operation well and begin to take timid steps to rediscover life through her other senses. Our surprise when she woke up from the operation was all the greater because, instead of being afraid of people, her darling would lift her little head and ask for her share of caresses under the chin. At the house it was difficult for her to adjust to the space and all the other kitties, but once she arrived in foster care - Poca proved to us that even blind - she is a healthy cat in the true sense of the word. She runs after fishing rods with bells, chases squeaky balls, jumps on the bed or sofa and always comes when you call her. Being cuddled and loved are her favorite parts of a day and any family that would like to welcome her into their home would have unconditional love. We would not recommend a family with children or other pets, as sudden noises can create a lot of anxiety and stress for her. For Dima, fate seems to have tried to throw the hardest and most arduous challenges in his way. From enlarged organs, to FIV, toxoplasma and even PIF - Dima had it all... She was taken when she was only 1.4 kg and thought to be a kitten, from a ditch in the middle of the night, where she was sitting lying on the side. She started tumultuously with little hope of recovery, with a transfusion received as soon as her first test results came out. Even with all the difficulties, she continued to fight, her eyes were brighter and brighter, and we all hoped that in her soul she felt how much the world was with her. Little by little her condition improved, she stayed at the cat house for a while when all the treatments were completed, and then settled in the foster home, where she found all the peace she needed. Now Dima's only concern is to make sure that she is punctual at the bowl that is regularly filled with food, that she does not miss an episode of her fosterer's favorite series and that at bedtime she is already nestled at the foot of the bed. She's a shy kitty who needs time to trust you and isn't too excited about endless hugs. She appreciates her personal space and lets you know when it's time for caresses and cuddles. A suitable family for Dima would be one without small children or other animals, as she isn't too happy to share her home with anyone who has too much energy or the will to socialize. He endured much pain as the metal plate pierced his skin day by day. At the time of the takeover, he was visibly weakened and resigned to the suffering he endured daily. After recovering from the initial surgery, he timidly began to rediscover a world without pain and spasms with every step. He recovered, and once it was possible he ended up in foster care. There, we suddenly discovered with them, a new Yoshi – an extremely affectionate one, happy every time his people return home and crazy about colored balls and fishing rods. When it comes to sleep, you'll find him curled up on something soft, but most of all he likes to sleep with you or even on your chest, making sure in the morning that you remember to pet him as soon as you open your eyes. Little kitten Frida was brought to us when she was still the size of a ball. Frida's drama was far from over because, being in foster care, Frida was lost. The whole time she was away was very hard, and every day we kept losing hope that she would be okay. Now Fridulina is like a princess in her new foster home, she would not give up her indoor life for any adventure and prefers only to watch the birds in the trees from the windowsill. Justice is a special kitten, who has carried us through countless emotions since he has been with us. With 190 consecutive days of treatment for feline infectious peritonitis, compared to just 84 as the standard regimen, Justice emerged victorious. He was left with breathing problems, a blocked nose and secretions that needed to be cleaned daily. However, we see it as a treasure. A gentle, delicate kitten and attached to people - the likes of which I have rarely seen before. He demands to be held, loves to be petted and brushed and would follow you around the house all day. He's lazy if you're lying down, he keeps you company in the kitchen without asking you what you're eating, and he's always ready to run a fishing rod if you feel like playing. But his warm and affectionate nature doesn't just stop with people, he likes other cats too - as long as they don't mind having a shadow of Justice just a step behind them, watching their every move. He hasn't interacted with puppies very often, but could try in the right family. Children would definitely be his favorite friends and he would watch over them like a big brother whenever needed. She is not exactly the friendliest with other animals, especially considering the environment she was adopted from, so we would recommend that the adoptive family either not have any other animals in their care or that they be animals as calm as her and have patience and understanding until she finds her courage. Toy mice and fishing rods quickly became her favorite hobby, and now she has become an expert at hunting colorful feathers. Goldie is so grateful to have been rescued, and as proof, she plans to delight any family that chooses her as a companion, with her funny faces, cute meow, and deep purr. The ideal family for her would have another meowing companion to play with, and she could live with children, but we think she would be scared of puppies, at least at first. Goldie is excited to find out who she will spend the rest of her life with!
